What to send
The MRI you already have — ideally performed within the last twelve months — of the region that hurts: lumbar for low back and leg symptoms, cervical for neck and arm symptoms. The images themselves matter more than the written report, so a disc or a download link from the imaging centre is best. If you have had spine surgery, your operative report helps considerably.
No current MRI? That is not a problem; it just changes the first step. Your primary care physician can order one, and our team can tell you what to ask for.
What you get back
A physician — not a form, not a call-centre script — reads your study and tells you in writing whether you appear to be a candidate for the FibraDisc Procedure, including when you do not. If you appear to be a candidate, the response also includes your starting quote, so you are deciding against a real figure before you think about a flight. Turnaround is typically within 48 hours of receiving your file.
What it is not
The screening is an initial candidacy assessment. It is not a diagnostic report, not a substitute for a radiologist's interpretation, and it does not establish a physician–patient relationship. Candidacy is confirmed only after an in-person evaluation, and which levels are treated is decided by the annulogram on the day.
Common questions
No. The review of imaging you already have costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
